Employee Spotlight – Jenny Miller

Congratulations to May’s Rockstar Award Winner – Jenny Miller!

Jenny has been a huge asset to the Adaptive team since she started. Jenny was ready for a change from working in critical care. After talking with Tara and Melia, she felt like this would be a good fit then quickly realized it was a great fit for her! “Clients being discharged from the hospital often go home without any help our resources and end up back in the hospital. We can help stop that cycle by having caregivers in the home daily.” said Jenny. Jenny has worked in the healthcare industry for 21 years. She started working as a CNA in a nursing home then moved to critical care, still as a CNA, before she graduated a nursing home. After nursing school, she worked as a RN in ICU then moved to the cardiac cath lab before making the switch to Adaptive.

Jenny’s favorite thing about working in this field is going out to visit clients after our services have started and seeing what a difference that home health aide has made for the client. “They appreciate having someone to help them, allowing them to have independence in their own home.” said Jenny.

When she’s not working, you can find Jenny at the ballpark watching her daughter play softball or watching her son in mountain bike races. Jenny says if she could have any super power, she would “rid the world of bedbugs HAHA. Seriously I would make care available to everyone that needs it. It is hard seeing patients and family members struggle to get the assistance that they. I just want to help them all.”

Jenny can not live without coffee and her family. She wants to be remembered as a good, loving, loyal and honest person who put friends and family first. Jenny lives by the saying “Always do the right thing for the right reasons.”
