Employee Spotlight – Brittany Jennings RN

Congratulations to September’s Rockstar Award Winner – Bloomington Clinical Manager Brittany Jennings!

Brittany has been a huge driving force in the success of the Greenwood office. Last month, she took her talents to the Bloomington office and has settled in quick! Her clients love her and were extremely upset to see her leave the Greenwood office. One actually reached out to Administrator Tara Smith to tell her how much of an impact Brittany has had on his daughter’s life. He said,  “its not every day that someone comes along and makes such a huge difference in your life. We will miss her dearly.” She is the epitome of what a nurse should be and what we strive to be here at Adaptive!

Brittany has been a nurse for seven years now and originally started her career in a long term care facility. She was looking for a change in direction after four years at the facility. An old co-worker, Steph Dye (who is also a Bloomington Clinical Manager!), reached out to Brittany about an opportunity with Adaptive. She researched the company and fell in love with our mission statement. “Positively impact as many lives as possible through the delivery of exceptional homecare services.” She jumped at the opportunity to work for Adaptive! She said, “I’ve never regretted it a single day. I’ve met so many people who share my passion and it truly renewed my faith in the health care industry. Home health care is the future of nursing and Adaptive soars above the rest.”

Brittany’s favorite part about her job is her clients. She said, “It is an almost magical experience to see someone at admission who seems hopeless and ready to give up, only to go back a few months later and see the light in their eyes has returned. I cherish the opportunity to have a small part in their happiness.” She truly cares about each and every one of her clients.

When she isn’t at work, you can find Brittany at home with her husband and two kids. If she could have any super powers, it would be the ability to snap her fingers and have a clean house! She said, “I’m a busy working mom and wife with 3 messy boys at home (my husband included) and I could really use some Mary Poppins magic in my life!” When asked what Brittany couldn’t live without, she replied “Besides the obvious, my family and friends, I couldn’t go a day without my phone. My whole life is organized on it and I would be lost without my reminders!” She wants to be remembered as someone who motivates others to be the best versions of themselves.
